Old News
I’m not much of a blogger. Sure, I stumble across the random blog here and there and get sucked into it for a few minutes, but I’m really not much of a blogger. In fact, this is my first blog post ever. Unless you count my Facebook or MySpace pages. Social networking had turned me into a blogger long before I ever realized it. So, I figured before I posted my first official blog entry, I would do a little research, you know, look into this whole blog thing. I’ve learned a lot. Like any seasoned researcher, I turned to Wikipedia for all the answers. I never knew blog was short for web log, and, with that, I never knew blogging had been around long enough to have etymologically evolved. According to Word, it hasn’t. As I’m writing this, I’ve had to click “add to dictionary” to get rid of the little red squigglies under “blogger” (I’ve at the same time been alerted that “squigglies” isn’t a word). Moving on, I’ve now set up an iGoogle homepage loaded with RSS feeds bringing everything I deem newsworthy to within one click of mental absorption. Media is changed forever. I’m hooked. So with this first post comes my entrance to the blogging life and with it goes the last of my social life. Maybe I should have started here. Now for some content.

We’ve created a monster. Welcome! Post some pictures from Seattle — preferably ones of Jason from the Bachelor. He’s from Seattle.
