Deadline is Over…

The good new is I am writing this post from New York. The bad news? It’s my last post for the HOKlife blog. Today I fell victim to the bad economy, and after a great 10 years I have to say goodbye to HOK.

I took this photo (just before being told no photos!) today at the Uniqlo store on Broadway, where they have on display miniature mannequins, and lots of them…behind magnifying lenses. They really are worth seeing if you are in town. I had just finished a great meeting with PSFK (Justin can blog about this later) and popped in to the store to buy myself a little treat (I know…I said i wouldn’t shop…but does a $29.00 pink cashmere sweater count?!) and this tiny T-shirt spoke to me…

So…my deadline is over. I will miss the blog – a lot. I will miss the people – a lot. When I get my own blog up and running I will let Justin know…maybe he will ping me!  Until then, thanks for indulging me and my often bizarre and random musings…

Janet

so what I hear you saying, is that I have alot of things to do . . . correct?

I know the HOK blog is going to miss you. Especially since you filled the quota of meaningful posts from the Toronto office, and now everyone is stuck with my rubbish.

I have a feeling though, that we haven’t heard the last from you. The Intranet isn’t that big of a place anymore
