Los Angeles Has Officially Frozen Over

As most of you know, LA is usually sunny and hot.  But we have been hit hard this week by a few fast moving storms.  We had tons of rain – flooded most of Long Beach, thunder loud enough to set off car alarms, and even had a tornado… And today, we had 5 mins of hail.. (I know.. its crazy!)

I miss the warm weather… :(

Yahoo! It’s most likely because I live in Los Angeles that any sort of inclement weather is a thrill. But, seriously, this is too much fun! Except maybe the tornado.

Check out the wave pictures at Venice Beach:

This is normally an ankle-slapping beach break.

Here in the Bay Area, Caltrans wages constant battle against newly avid coastal erosion. Sections of highway are falling into the sea.

    And now LA’s getting hail?

If we want to beat back global weirding . . . we’d better act now.
