Fourth Annual Pi Day
Structures held its fourth annual Pi Day celebration this year!
The contests included Pi Recitation and Best In Show Pie. Interestingly enough (and maybe due the hardy competition from last year) contestants were shy to come to the table for reciting digits of pi. Yong Yu, last year’s winner recited a few digits (more like 50) to really bring it home and make it feel like a real Pi Day. [Every holiday has to have its thing, Valentine's Day=overpriced heart shaped candies; St. Pat's=green beer; Cinco de Mayo=sombreros]
Because of the less exciting reciting [say that 10, er, 3.14 time fast], we ended up splitting the Pi Restaurant gift card awards between the top two pies (out of 15). Some of the entries included wildberry pie, apple pie, pecan pie, and more.

Thanks to everyone that participated by either bringing a pie and eating a pie; or by simply enjoying how fun pi can be!
