Celestial Inspiration

Yesterday Venus, a world with nearly the same radius of Earth, passed as merely a speck between us and the sun, a seething ball of gas 93,000,000 miles away with a radius 110 times that of Earth. If this directly observable demonstration of otherwise unfathomable scale doesn’t make your heart skip a beat…nothing will!
