HOK SF: Hallogreen 2012!

Every year for the past five years or so, the HOK San Francisco office has been “bringing out the green in Halloween” by hosting in-office green-oriented pumpkin carving contests.

The carver gets the creative freedom to determine what this means for his or her carving. While some take this contest as an opportunity to pay homage to the GIANTS World Series Champs, others create sustainable carvings. It turns out to be a lot of fun to see the results of our office mates’ creative juices flowing.

Typically the prizes are green, and this year’s prizes definitely were!

(L to R) Air plant on sustainable virgin cork bark, Method cleaning supplies, Bicycle repair multi-tool

1st place had first pick of the prizes, 2nd place had second pick, and so on…

Congrats to the winners- Nic, Breffni and Sandy!

Take a look at this year’s entries.
