As an urban designer and planner based in Houston for the HOK Planning Group, Abbey focuses on design guidelines, urban infill projects and master planning. Abbey’s career at HOK began long before she made her way back to her hometown. She began as a co-op in Atlanta during her master’s program at Georgia Tech before accepting a full-time position in Washington DC. In 2008, she and her husband (and high school sweetheart) headed back to their home state of Texas.
Abbey has a vivacious personality that is infectious to all those around here. She uses this power for good as a dedicated member of the Junior League, Urban Land Institute, and various groups around Houston.
In her free time, you can find Abbey traveling the globe, cheering for the Aggies, catching up on celebrity gossip, sipping champagne, or chasing her one-year-old son.
