Bill Odell

Bill Odell is one of HOK’s MVPs, with more than 30 years of experience in architecture and laboratory design and firmwide director of HOK’s Science + Technology group. Getting to know Bill is a treat, not only because he has designed award-winning facilities for some of the country’s largest and most complex research campuses. Or because he is one of the true pioneers in sustainable design, a founding member of the U.S. Green Building Council and author of two books, frequently speaking on architectural and environmental issues all over the world. Working with Bill is like getting to spend time with your favorite college professor, infectious with his enthusiasm and belief in creating spaces that bring people together and improve their lives, whether they are doing important research or going to a hospital or passing through an airport. An AIA Fellow and true academic at heart, Bill is an active community resident of historic Lafayette Square in St. Louis, where he raised his two daughters and currently resides with his wife and dogs.
