Jaki Jefferson

Jaki's lengthy HOK tenure has included stints in Architecture, Interiors, Planning, Aviation and the practice formerly known as Studio E.

The youngest of six, Jaki is the first in her family to graduate from college. But a single degree was hardly enough. She's currently completing her Ph.D. from Capella University in Minnesota and soon will only respond to the title "Dr. Jefferson," or "Dr. J" for short.

No one can rally the troops quite like Jaki. Drawing on skills honed as head cheerleader at East St. Louis High School, she can energize people with one arm tied behind her back. Her secret weapon – the potluck lunch – has been known to melt the coldest, most cynical of hearts.

Lover of marshmallows, Cheetos and plain double cheeseburgers from White Castle, Jaki also has a not-so-secret addiction to WWF wrestling and infomercials – which she watches from the six TVs in her new townhouse. Let's hope it has plenty of closets, as this fashionista owns an estimated 175 pairs of shoes and more scarves than an Eskimo.
