As a senior consultant and leader in the Washington, DC consulting group, Jodi focuses on predesign services such as programming and workplace strategies, taking advantage of her mixed background in sociology and urban planning. She’s also involved in a number of sustainable projects, and is a regular blogger on thegreenworkplace.com. Her favorite part of the job is that her work can (and does!) improve the lives of the employees of the businesses for whom she works.
Attracted to HOK by the firm's size and breadth of project work in comparison with what she encountered working for two small development/consulting firms, Jodi joined HOK's consulting group in 2005. The immense opportunities (both professional and personal) and fantastic colleagues continue to captivate and motivate her daily.
A sports enthusiast, Jodi uses her spare time to cheer on the Nationals and the Redskins, or play herself on myriad soccer and softball teams. She’s also a huge animal lover, and is as likely as not to be covered in cat and boxer fur. And after those particularly stressful days, you may find her releasing the day at the gym or via the Zen art that is Rock Band.
