I will have to confess I’m one of the many that after a Koolhaas lecture stands in line with 4 books awaiting a signing.  Thus, I’m sharing with you a slight obsession.

On Tuesday

I attended a lecture last night by Nathalie De Vries of MVRDV, at the University of Toronto, and it brought a smile to my face to see someone that started at such a young age, in a profession often dominated by grey beards, succeed. Through her nearly 3 hour talk about her firm’s current and past projects, I got the feeling that her team has fun doing what they love.
